: amy & toby- fell in love with the idea of having reclaimed structural beams throughout their home as well as concrete elements for their fireplaces, which are now all in the heart of their home.  we completely remodeled their home to feature these architectural elements, as well as new floorplans for both floors, custom baths & kitchen, complementary lighting plan & fixtures, updated interior doors and millwork, smooth finish walls, expansive folding glass wall systems, and a beautiful wide plank oak floor.

: mick- had a desire to blend rustic materials with modern lines. his work with corey nielsen, architect, established this aesthetic, and mick and i worked to finish off the interiors with the same balance: white oak cabinetry, playful tile-work, minimalist lighting, and a gorgeous reclaimed chestnut staircase with vertical cable railings spanning the three floors. a musical motif was imbued in the spirit of mick's home, suggested in the piano-like strings of the stairway railing and the grand piano-like shape of the kitchen counter- a nod to his parents who were professional musicians.

: isaac- wanted this ranch-style update to have a fun and welcoming feel. after lofting the ceilings, and giving it a new layout, we kept the cabinetry simple but added playfulness in the tile selection and layout. painting the exterior brick and accenting the exterior doors with bold colors helped bring the modern feel to the outside, too.
